How to make a blowout last four days
A blowout should outlive the weekend. Here's what to do on nights one, two, and three.
Night one: hands off
Don't touch it, don't tie it, don't tuck it behind your ears. Sleep on silk or the smoothest pillowcase you own. If you must put it up, a loose, low scrunchie and nothing tighter.
Night two: the pineapple
Gather everything on top of your head, loosely, and sleep like that. In the morning shake it out upside down, then warm the ends with a dry round brush for thirty seconds. That's the whole reset.
Day three: dry shampoo, correctly
Spray at the roots from about six inches away, wait two full minutes, then brush it through. Lift the hairline with your fingers while it sets. Spraying close and brushing right away is how it turns to paste.
When to give up
Workouts, rain, and the day it's genuinely time. Nothing survives a spin class. When it's gone, it's gone; book the next one.
